We are here to provide you with friendly and cost effective waste disposal services.
The Marion’s owned and operated Rural Services for fifty-one years. In the spring of 2022, they made the decision to retire. Gerald Collins, a native of Claudville, Va, approached the Marions’ about acquiring the business. The Marions’ were proud to sale Rural Services to Mr. Collins knowing he would continue the locally owned and operated business with the citizens of Patrick County in mind.
Mr. Collins has extensive experience owning and operating small businesses. Gerald owns Container Storage Solutions LLC based out of Fancy Gap, Va, and operates Cana Convenience Site, located in Cana, Va. He approaches his leadership roles with a customer-centered service model, which will extend to Rural Services for the next fifty or more years.
Mr. Collins is not all work and no play. Gerald has twin daughters currently in college and a teenage son. Gerald enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to the beach, exploring the outdoors and hunting when not at work. Rural Services is a family owned and operated company based in Claudville, Virginia. Over the past 40 years, we have focued on providing our neighbors with friendly and cost effctive waste removal solutions. As Patrick County natives, we are committed to giving back to our community. We are proud to support Patrick County's economy by operating a small business and employing local residents. Currently, our services are provided by a dedicated staff that includes an administrative assistant, three drivers and a mechanic. As our company continues to grow, we promise to continue providing you with an affordable service.
